During the HSC years, many of us find that school has become a lot more "serious". The vibe in school is different, the tone from teachers are no longer so forgiving. Often, students fear, or are even warned, that if they fall behind from the beginning, it will only become harder and harder over time.
This is why we strongly encourage students to join our structured program prior to commencing Year 11. In Year 10, we aim to bring students to a high standard for Advanced Mathematics, which forms critical foundations to numerical subjects in HSC, including all levels of Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and more. A solid foundation at this point will provide grounds to a smooth start in Year 11.
Our Year 11 & Year 12 HSC Program is designed to adhere to the HSC Syllabus, and most schools' teaching agenda. They are best taken hand in hand with our regular school study and most effective when taken throughout the whole course of HSC study. These classes are designed to enhance students' understanding and confidence, and stretch their ability to excel in a varied range of questions. (For students who missed the start of our HSC program, and feel that they might have fallen behind class already, you are encouraged to take out our private tutoring to re-coup any missed knowledge, prior to joining the HSC Program.)
Where are you in the HSC journey?
In Year 10, you haven't officially kicked off your HSC journey. However, this is a crucial year to get yourself ready for HSC, through subject selection and building strong core fundamentals.
At Finesse Tutoring, we provide Maths Advanced training for Year 10 students, which is a critical stepping stone to get to the Year 11 Maths Advanced and Extension 1, Physics and Chemistry study.
In Year 11, we officially kick start our HSC programs on Maths Advanced, Maths Extension 1, Physics, and Chemistry.
Our programs adhere to the HSC Syllabus and are structured to ensure students go through a steady pace, that allow them to absorb all required knowledge at great depth.
Year 12 is a short year, with 3 terms of study and a final term dedicated to the HSC exam itself.
Most of our new content teaching and coaching would wrap up towards the end of Term 2 or the beginning of Term 3, with plenty of time reserved to go through the more challenging questions and exam techniques for the HSC exams.
Class Time & Prices
All courses are $990 per term, comprising 9 x 2.5-hour lessons.
